Aduana Stars Eye GPL Cup After Beating Bolga All Stars.
With an impressive 4-1 win over Bolga All Stars, Aduana Stars edged closer to winning the Ghana Premier League trophy in match day 28 at the Temale Utrecht Park on Sunday.
The Stars of the east wasted no time to restore their position through Nathaniel Asamoah just after restarting play with Sam Adams topping it with another goal from the spot kick two minutes later. In the 25 and 44 minutes respectively, Derrick Sasraku put the game beyond the hosts with two goals all in the first half and pressured the already relegated team.
Aduana Stars are very close to their second league title in the history of Ghana premier League as they thrashed over Bolga All Stars.
But in the face of the win, CEO of Aduana Stars Albert Yahaya is still not convinced that his team should jubilant over this win but rather prepare seriously for their matches ahead of them. "Mathematical don't me call GPL champions because it only God or Allah that can tell you what will happen in the next moment, we have two matches to play and we have to take our time still concentrate to win", the CEO added.
The CEO of Aduana further added that, "for challenges, he looked at it from two three seasons ago when the team were struggling to survive the league, we sat down drew our slot analysis and we were very truthful to ourselves that we need to do a lot , changes have to happen but it have to happen gradually we took that exercises and we took it in a good faith. Last season we got closer and we were second and for me I think this season should be for us and we have work towards it".
